Info sought on LTTE suspect

Thirunavukarasu Balachandran alias Uganda Bala involved in human smuggling activities and suspected of LTTE connections was deported by the Malaysian authorities to Sri Lanka on August 13.

CID Investigations have revealed that the suspect had been involved in human smuggling activities and cheated several Sri Lankans, especially in the North and East. Balachandran frequented Wellawatta, Jaffna and Vavuniya and Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
