Antonian under 15 team win all five matches

St. Anthony's College, Kandy completed an excellent first round in the Division One under 15 cricket tournament by winning all their five matches. They were coached by W. Samith Danushka.Damithra Panditharathne led the team while Dilan Harshana Bandara was the Vice Captain.

Antonians beat Sir John Kotelawela College by eight wickets in the first match. They bowled out the opponents for 78 runs in 28 overs and reached the target in 17.3 overs by giving away just two wickets.

Antonians defeated Dharmaraja College by three wickets in the second match. Dhrmaraja Batted first and scored 179 all out. Antonians took 46.3 overs to score the winning runs for the loss of seven wickets.

Antonians posted their third victory against Ibbagamuwa College with an eight wicket win. Losers batted first and were skittled out for 110 in 38.3 overs. Winners reached the target in 23.2 overs for two wickets.

In the fourth match St. Anthony's College beat St. Thomas' College, Matale by 193 runs. Antonians occupied the crease first and piled up a massive 325 runs. In contrast St. Thomas' team only managed to score 132 in 32.3 overs as winners sent back all Thomian batsmen to the pavilion.

St. Anthony's College registered their final victory against Royal College, Polonnaruwa to make a clean sweep in the division one first round. Antonians scored 263/9 in their 50 overs and restricted Royalists for 205/8 to claim a 58 run victory.
