Bail for suspects who attempted to attack actress

The Elpitiya Police released on bail two suspects who allegedly attempted to attack actress Geetha Kumarasinghe on Wednesday. The Police said that both parties involved in the incident had agreed to settle the problem peacefully.

Sooriyawewa STF unit arrested a suspect with 7.57 kgs of ganja at Meegahajadura. Sooriyawewa STF SSP Jayaweera said that disguised STF personnel dealt with the suspect to buy eight kilograms at Rs 12,000 a kilo.
