Junior Rugby Carnival on October 1

The Western Province Schools Rugby Football Association (WPSRFA) is organizing an All-Island Invitation Junior Rugby Carnival on October 1, (Venue will be notified later).

According to N J Mudannayake (Organizing Secretary - WPSRFA) last year 80 teams took part and this year they are expecting 300 teams.

The participating age groups are as follows:

Under 9 and Under 10 Tag Rugby Under 11 Tap Rugby

Under 12 and 13 Normal Seven - Aside rugby

Mudannayake further said that there is no limit for any teams under the above age to take part.
