Rotherham Circuit Meet tomorrow

The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) track in Katukurunda will be the ground for powerful engines and some smart driving skills when the Rotherham Circuit Meet 2011 will be held there on August 07. Sri Lanka Association for Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) has organized the Meet in collaboration with the SLAF for the fifth consecutive year.

According to the Air Force Commander, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, SLAF has taken all measures to make this year's event a great success. The President of SLADAR, Yoga Perera said that more than 180 competitors will be seen in action during the meet, including several foreign riders as well. This year's Rotherham Circuit Meet will include a total number of 22 events including 12 car events and 10 bike events.

The Bank of Ceylon will be the main sponsor for the event while People's Bank, Brown and Company, Douglas and Sons and CEAT Tyres will be co-sponsoring along with a host of other sponsors.
