Suspect's bail bond cancelled

The Colombo Fort Magistrate and Additional District Judge Lanka Jayaratne yesterday cancelled the bail bond of a woman suspect who had been remanded for possessing 1.75 grams of heroin. She was remanded till October 14.

At the outset an officer attached to the Department of Government Analyst, who appeared for the prosecution submitted to court that the suspect had earlier been convicted by another court for a similar offence.
