Iran assures support for SL’s development programme

Our story and picture on page 4 of our issue on July 30, 2011 was inadvertently captured Iraq assures support for SL’s economic development programme. It should read as Iran assures support for SL’s economic development effort.

The pledge was given by Iran’s deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Seyyed Amir Mansour Borghel when he called on Prime Minister D M Jayaratne in the presence of Iranian Ambassador Mohamed Rahime Gorji.
