Three nabbed while packing ganja in trishaw

Three suspects and 60 grammes of ganja were seized by Police in a three-wheeler at a bus stand in Kottawa. The suspects were packing the ganja when they were taken into custody.

The suspects are residents of Mattegoda, Police said. The suspects produced before Homagama Magistrate were fined Rs 10,000 each.

Meanwhile, a heroin vendor who was released recently under personal bail was nabbed with 2,550 grammes of heroin in her possession in Kottawa.

The woman known as Kottawe Kudu Nona was produced before Homagama Magistrate and remanded.
