Water cut

Water supply will be interrupted to the following areas for 27 hours from 9 am today to noon tomorrow to facilitate the connection of the newly built Pattiwila Kelaniya South Bank Water Treatment Plant to the principal water main complex for augmenting water supply to towns North of Colombo, said the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) in a release yesterday.

The areas affected will be Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ragama, Jaela, Welisara, Kelaniya, Biyagama, Kiribathgoda and Kadawatha.
