Park Street Mews launches new food menu:

Tickle your taste strings at the Mews

The Park Street Mews recently launched a brand new food menu which could touch your taste buds to core. With enticing looks to go along with their delectable flavours, the new dishes were made under the supervision of Chef Rohan and his kitchen brigade. With the launch of the new menu, the Mews promises to provide a refreshing banquet that could make your taste strings prickle.

The appetizers are just the spur that you need to kick off your evening meal. Under the starters, the new menu features appetizers such as calamari with tartar sauce, tomato bruschetta, baked crab served with a garden green salad and mango salsa, smoked salmon with sour cream dip, capers and chillie, garlic prawns and a liver pate served with homemade crackers and chutney.

Calamari with tartar sauce

The soups varieties differ from French onion soup, spicy pumpkin soup to cream of asparagus with croutons. For those are longing for a healthy, nutritious, yet a lip-smacking diet, the Green and Lean section of the menu offers a range of salads. New salad dishes include a Thai marinated seafood salad with chili, papaya and coriander, a prawn salad with yogurt, fresh mango puree, coriander and seasoning and a tuna salad. Two much loved dishes from the old menu, the Caesar salad with smoked salmon, prawn or grilled chicken and the Greek salad with feta cheese have been retained in the new menu.

Adding spice and zest to your meal, the meat dishes come with a great variety. The spicy meat dishes feature pepper crusted Australian fillet steak with Worcestershire and mushroom sauce served with roast potato and vegetable, the mustard pork chop with apple and red onion chutney served with vegetable and potato, lamb gratin with cheese and served with serano chutney and chicken stuffed with eggplant and feta cheese served with leek mash and grilled vegetables.

Under the seafood section, the menu offers grilled seer fish served with vegetable, potato and tamarind sauce to a mixed seafood grill with lemon butter sauce served with saffron rice and a fresh salad and salmon steak served with roasted aubergine puree.

The new menu has not forgotten veggie lovers either.

From the Pasta Italiano corner

Pasta Italiano section offers something extra special for vegetarians. There’s the linguini with roasted vegetables, the penne with mozzarella and eggplant and the mushroom ravioli. Non vegetable pasta includes the crab fettuccine, the beef lasagna and the carbonara with either bacon or chicken.

To round up the delightful meal, the Mews offer you a tantalizing collection of desserts. The Mews invites you to indulge yourself in the new desserts like jaggery mousse, Eton meringue mess, rum raisin apple pie, the passion fruit and coconut crème brulee, the rhubarb crumble and warm chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream.
