Cricket tourney for under 19 girls

A cricket tournament for under 19 girls in government schools will be organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) for the first time in Sri Lanka, said SLSCA President Nalanda College principal J.H.M.W. Ranjith.

Only one team from each school is permitted to enter this leather ball tournament and they should be over 13 years of age.

The principals of the schools are requested to forward their applications before August 5, 2011 the SLSCA President said.
