Army extends welfare projects to Jaffna islands
The Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna
(SF-J), is expanding its community welfare projects being carried
out in the Jaffna mainland to Jaffna islands. a stock of agriculture
equipment, school uniforms and boat engines were distributed among
civilians in Kayts and Punguduthivu islands recently.

Bogus job agents arrested
Two suspects, including a woman, who had cheated
people promising foreign jobs were arrested by Matara police near
the Uyanwatte stadium, Matara on Tuesday. Police also seized a set
of promissory notes from their possession.
