Man with ganja nabbed

A man with packets of ganja hidden in his underwear was nabbed by Kurunegala Police at the Magistrate Court yesterday.

The police found several packets of ganja packed in brown paper hidden in his underwear. The suspect was arrested by the police following a tip-off from the public.

He was produced before Kurunegala Chief Magistrate Buddhika Sri Ragala and remanded until July 11.

The suspect is a resident of Anamaduwa, Kurunegala police said.
