SLPC inauguration diploma course

The academic sessions of the second batch following the diploma course in Newspaper and Communication Studies conducted by Sri Lanka Press Council will be inaugurated at the Government Information Department on July 1 at 9 am.

Five books on mass media will also be launched along with the inauguration ceremony. The books are Sri Lankavve Puvathpath Prabhavaya saha Abhivardhana by Professors T R G Dela Bandara and K D G Wimalaratne, Madhya Saksharatava: Hendinvimak by Professor Sunanda Mahendra, Bhashava ha Sannivedanaya by Dr Sandagomi Coperahewa, Madhya Adhyapanaya ha Puvathpatha by Thilini Rathnayaka and Chayarupika Puvathpathkala Pilimbanda Hendinveemak by Kumara Edirisooriya.
