Programme to develop ethics among primary students

The Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Presidential Steering Committee will begin an educational programme to develop ethics among primary students throughout the country to mark the 2600th Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi year, Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Presidential Steering Committee secretary K Kalupahana said.

This programme will begin under a committee appointed under the 2600th Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Presidential Steering Committee, the secretary said.

The programme will be launched with Education Ministry support, he said.

The committee has launched this programme to make children aware of good ethics from childhood.
