Kandy inter club soccer to commence

Fourteen teams will vie for honours at the Kandy Association Football Leagues 'A' Division inter club soccer tournament which will be worked off shortly.

Hylines Sports Club are the defending champions who along with Golden Stars SC, York SC and Madhyamalanka SC will go out to win the championship title. E W Balasuriya and company will sponsor this tournament according to the Secretary Tikiri Ambagaspitiya. The KAFL will meet the ground fees and the match officials out of pocket expenses.
