LLRC to examine Channel 4 video

The Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) of Sri Lanka yesterday said that it would examine the latest video telecast by Chanel 4 TV.

According to the Commission's media advisor Lakshman Wickremesinghe, the Commission members viewed video clips, UAV footings and pictures during the period the Commission recorded evidence from members of the public including the Security Forces.

He said the Commission has viewed photos and similar material.

Wickremesinghe added that the Commission has also viewed the first video clip on Sri Lanka telecast by Channel 4 last year.

"An expert in videography and allied technology of the Moratuwa University was brought before the Commission to give evidence over the first Channel 4 video last year and he opted for giving evidence in camera," he added.
