BMW leads in US luxury auto sales
After a close finish in April, BMW is the top-selling luxury brand in
the United States. Munich-based automaker took the lead.
As expected, the 2011 BMW sales continue to receive a boost by the
new 5 series and X3 models. The 5 series sales rose 77 percent last
month. BMW deliveries in the US rose 8.9 percent in April to 18,801
compared to the same month last year.
Deliveries for the first four months of the year rose to 71,417
vehicles to lead Mercedes' 71,388 sales and the 64,932 deliveries by
Lexus. |
