Abans launch Toshiba netbooks

With Harman and Kardon speakers:

Abans, authorized distributor for Toshiba in Sri Lanka, recently launched two models of Toshiba Netbooks, NB520 and NB505 to become the world's first netbooks embedded with state-of-the-art Harman and Kardon speakers.

Toshiba's NB520 and NB505 series offer a magic sound experience through the world's smallest Harman/Kardon speakers in a slim and stylish casing and meets a yet unfulfilled demand in the netbook market. Despite its diminutive size, the NB520 packs a powerful sonic punch with its 2 watts Harman and Kardon stereo speakers, giving a vibrant bass and crystal clear trebles quality to the sound, not normally associated with netbooks. They support Dolby Advanced Audio to provide a natural sound experience while listening to music or watching videos in HD quality (720p) on the netbook. Coupled with Sleep and Music features, the NB520 allows consumers who store their favourite music tracks on a MP3 player to connect it to the notebook and listen to the music through the netbooks advanced Harman/Kardon speakers without requiring to turn the PC on.

The Slim NB505 series offers users everyday computing consumption needs. As the second member in Toshiba's new netbook family, the NB505 series is targeted at users who appreciate a slim, mobile device with basic computing consumption features at an affordable price. Despite this, the NB505 is one of the thinnest and lightest netbooks in the market featuring an Intel Atom dual-core processor.

Apart from Toshiba's exclusive NB520 and NB505 netbooks with Harman and Kardon stereo speakers, Abans also have the Toshiba NB500 series which feature 3x USB ports, integrated webcam, and Bluetooth V3.0 High Speed which offers up to 8x faster data transfer. The NB520 series also comes with USB Sleep and Charge feature whereby users can charge their electronic devices without turning on the PC. Toshiba's exclusive value-added software tools like the Toshiba Real Time and Toshiba Bulletin Board are also pre-installed in the NB500 series. These interfaces help users to locate recent files easily and the latter allows them to customize and manage their daily activities. To top it off, it features Power-Savng Eco-Utility software which helps to conserve the environment by lowering power consumption and giving the netbook a longer battery life.

Abans is the authorized service provider for Toshiba Netbooks in Sri Lanka with an islandwide service network. The new Toshiba NB Series netbooks are now available at all Abans Showrooms islandwide.
