LIOC turnover tops Rs 51.74 b

Growth in bunker fuel, lubricants and bitumen sales:

Lanka IOC PLC recorded a sales turnover of Rs 51.74 billion in the financial year 2010 and 2011 compared to Rs 50.21 billion in the previous year. The company also registered a significant growth in the sale of bunker fuel, lubricants and bitumen.

Nano Cabs (Pvt) Ltd launched the 24 hour nano cab taxi service with a fleet of 25 cabs to provide reliable convenient and affordable taxi service to the public. Addressing the launching ceremony of the Nano Cabs taxi service, Parliamentarian Thilanga Sumathipala said the newly introduced cab service will shift the paradigm of local transport services to new heights making travel more hassle free,
