Kalutara Vidyalaya Sports Development Fund launched

Kalutara Vidyalaya will celebrate its 70th Anniversary this year. There will be an array of events organized by the Old Boys to commemorate the service their alma-meta has rendered to the nation over the past seven decades.

The school has produced many intellectuals and national sports icons including current Sri Lankan cricket captain Thilekeratne Dilshan. As a part of the anniversary celebration the Old Boys Association (OBA) will launch the Sports Development Fund project to support the school's sports activities.

An Executive Committee member of the World Football Federation Manilal Fernando, who is another distinguish old boy of the Kalutara Vidyalaya has join hands with the OBA to make this Fund a success. The Fund will facilitate every sport in the school, enabling them to produce more national and international level sportsmen.
