Royal, Trinity play in Kandy

Royal College and Trinity College will be seen in action up in the hills today (Saturday) June 4 before their all important second leg of the 67 Bradby Shield encounter which will be played in Colombo next June 11.

A win here for both teams should boost up their morale before the big one and could enter the battle with their tails up.

Today at Pallekelle Trinity College will take on Issipatana College in what could be the best of two games.

The lions after their defeat at last week's first leg of the Bradby Shield will go all out to make amends by learning from their mistakes, which cost them the match. They should improve their ball handling if they are to get the better of Issipatana College.

Issipatana College on the other hand will go all out to topple their opponents with their bustling play.

At Nittawela St. Anthony's College will play hosts to Royal College in another interesting encounter. The Antonians earlier this week were unlucky to lose to the Kingswoodians after they had built up a 14-0 lead at one stage. But they could not consolidate on this.

The Royalists are riding high this season by remaining unbeaten so far. They look set to win the schools under 20 'A' Division title.
