Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful by Roberto Bengin will be screened at the Namel
Malini Punchi Theatre, Borella on 31 May at 6.30 p.m.
The film is a Chaplinesque fable about the power of imagination set
against the stark reality of World War II Europe. It combines satire,
physical comedy, social commentary and a touch of the surreal into a
uniquely moving story of love. This film is beyond belief. Everyone
lauds this film for finding comedy in such a tragic event, but you have
to look at it from more than the amazed point of view and adjust
yourself to the sheer brilliance. Deserved all the acclaim and awards it
received. |
