Eight deaths, over 400 houses damaged:

Over 8,500 people from 2,663 families in four districts have been affected by floods while eight deaths have been reported so far due to the floods and landslides caused by heavy rain during the last few days. Nearly 74 houses have been damaged and 343 houses partly damaged, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.
