Ministry assures treatment for injured FTZ workers

The Health Ministry has made arrangements to provide treatment to workers injured during the clash at the Free Trade Zone. Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena visited Ragama Teaching Hospital yesterday to inquire about the needs of those injured, a spokesman said.

According to the spokesman, Minister Sirisena had assured that the ministry will take steps to ensure that those injured will get the best medical treatment and other special treatment if required.

Around 29 people injured during the clash are receiving treatment at the Ragama Teaching Hospital.
