The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Ruhuna Service has taken
measures to broadcast a series of Buddhist sermons from June 1 from 8.00
a.m. to 9.00 a.m.
Buddhist monks who studied in national and international universities
and higher education institutes propagate dhamma over this programme,
SLBC Rununa Administration Officer Somasiri Wickramasinhe said.
The first dhamma sermon of this series is to be delivered by Chief
Incumbent of Jethawana Buddhist temple in France and also the Chief
Judicial Sangha Nayake in France Ven. Murungasyaye Gnaneswara Thera.
Opportunities have been made for the public to contribute to these
religious programmes, Wickramasinhe said. |
