Relief for flood victims

Due to heavy showers about 2,045 families are affected in the Biyagama Divisional Secretariat area. Over 7,095 members are affected.

The Biyagama Divisional Secretariat office, Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha and Biyagama Police have taken steps to grant them relief. Biyagama SLFP Chief Organizer, Disabled Management Deputy Minister Duleep Wijesekera, Biyagama UNP Chief Organizer Ruwan Wijewardene MP, Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Ananda Ganepola (UPFA) and Biyagama Divisional Secretary Saman Perera visited flood victims at the Biyagama electorate.
