Rohan Welivita’s Suseema, the first Sri Lankan movie to be shot with
some of the latest High Definition technology, hit the internet as the
team launched their website at the National Film Corporation on May 24.

Information about the movie which is based on the 1970’s cartoon
strip and highly successful television series of the 80’s is now

NFC Chairman Kumar Abeysinghe, A S P Group head Dr A S P Liyanage,
seasoned artiste Robin Fernando and many distinguished guests took part
in the event.
Suseema deals with a music group befriended by a rich hotelier named
Suradeva. He gives them a chance to prove their talents. Taking on the
challenge the boys impress Suradeva. Success follows and the band leader
falls in love with Suseema, Suradeva’s daughter.
Suseema is ready to take on the silver screen on July 8. |
