Building a new economic reality by Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC)
will create more financial benefits for the Sri Lankan companies in
years to come along with high economic growth prospects, author and
globally recognized customer relationship expert, Larry Hochman said.
Addressing the CIMA Leadership Forum recently, he said, “Sri Lankan
businesses have to hire the right people with innovative ideas who have
the ability to change according to the various cultural environments of
companies. In addition, future wealth and value in Sri Lanka will be
created by innovative and creative talented people in many Sri Lankan
companies.
“If the Sri Lankan companies need to compete regionally and globally,
it is vital to build trust into their brands without risking the clients
relationship.
“Transparency will be the tipping point of an organization since
everything you do and say will be seen and talked by clients through
various digital information modes,” Hochman said.
Hochman added that in the digital era, top level people of the
organizations need to understand how much of power technology can give
and how much damage technology can do to the organizations if they
deliver false promises to customers.
Communication centre of control has gone nuclear and no centre or
control can be seen in today’s information era.
Customers will be the co-creators of value of life and best ideas of
the change will come from customers who trust the company’s products and
services, he said. |
