Nations Trust partners Citibank

Citibank and Nations Trust Bank have entered into a partner bank arrangement thereby further strengthening their existing relationship.

This new partnership provides network coverage and value addition to Citi clients, which will benefit both corporate, and non-bank financial institutions in the country through faster realization of domestic collections. Through this partnership Citi will provide enhanced services to their customer base through the continued increase of its geographical footprint in the domestic market.

Citi clients will now be able to deposit funds at any of the Nations Trust Bank Branches located islandwide.

An agreement signing took place at the Nations Trust Bank head office between Nations Trust Bank CEO and Director Saliya Rajakaruna and Citibank Sri Lanka Country Corporate Officer Glen Rase. NTB CEO Saliya Rajakaruna said "This partnership will enhance convenience and accessibility to Citibank customers as they make use of our islandwide branch network that allows them deposit facilities 365 days of the year even after standard banking hours." "We're pleased to be associated with Citi in a partnership that offers our growing local geographic footprint to the global customer base of Citibank."

Glen Rase said "NTB together with its growing distribution network and electronic banking platform make NTB an ideal partner for Citi, as we continue to expand our delivery capabilities."
