Shades of Sri Lanka to assist disabled children

Shades of Sri Lanka is an art exhibition held to promote 12 Artists and to generate funds for the disabled children of Prithipura Infant Homes in Wattala. Prithipura Infant Homes is a home to many physically and mentally disabled children abandoned by their parents. The Artists will be Ayub Cader, Hafsah Cader, Aloka Chandrasena, Suchitra Colonne, Anoma Fernando, Ravish Fernando, Zeyana Haniffa, Mumina Irfan, Zainab Irfan, Asma Shafeek, Namali Silva, Salaf Tegal.

The exhibition will display a maximum of 250 paintings, ranging from Old Masters to Vector art showcasing two extremes of art.

It will be held at the Lionel Wendt Theatre and Art Gallery from 6 May to 8 at 5 p.m to 8 p.m (today) and May 7 and 8 from 10 a.m to 8 p.m.
