Defence Secretary briefs diplomats

Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa briefed the Diplomatic Missions, United Nations and its specialized agencies accredited to Sri Lanka on the steps taken by the Defence Ministry to rehabilitate LTTE suspects. The Defence Secretory chaired the briefing and explained a broad spectrum of activities being carried out to rehabilitate the LTTE suspects at rehabilitation centres, the Defence Ministry said.

Over 30 Diplomats including US, UK, Australia, Canada, China and representatives from UN, ICRC, WHO, IOM and many other UN agencies participated in the briefing.
