Jaffna's Gnanam, Subash Hotels reopen

The Jaffna Gnanam and Subash Hotels reopened yesterday after being renovated following the ending of the three-decade old conflict.

These hotels which are situated in the Jaffna town limits, had been operating well prior to commencement of LTTE terrorist activities. The hotels were reopened under the patronage of Major General Mahinda Haturusinghe and with the participation of several other government officials.

As a result of the peaceful situation in the country, people are benefited by the peace dividends, said Major General Mahinda Haturusinghe.
