Workshop on food safety

It is known fact that many restaurants, kitchens in the city had been found unhygienic and dirty and unfit for making food within the Colombo city limits. Under the "Crowns for food hygiene" scheme Ind-Expo has scheduled a series of training programmes jointly with the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and practices on food safety and hygiene.

A work shop on "How to improve food safety and hygiene standards" will be held on May 27, in partnership with CMC. All trainees will receive a joint certificate of participation. Further details Ind-Expo could be obtained from email [email protected] and web site www.crowns.lk

Ind-Expo Certification (Pvt.) Ltd is a non profit making certification organization, established by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) and the National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) of Sri Lanka with the technical assistance from United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) under its project "Strengthening the international certification capacity in Sri Lanka" which operated under the Industry and Commerce Ministry.
