Commodity exchange applications close

The process to introduce the commodity exchange to the Sri Lanka capital market is currently under way.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka has advertised in the foreign economic magazines calling for potential applicants who are interested to make the commodity exchange a reality. The closing date of applications was last Friday, a Senior Official of the Securities Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka told Daily News Business.
