Wesleyites face acid test today

Wesley College will face an acid test when they take on St. Joseph's College in their Singer inter school under 19 'A' division league rugby tournament match at the CR and FC ground in Longden Place today.

The Wesleyites will be hoping for an improved performance after having lost to Royal by a solitary point 32-33 in their previous outing.

In contrast St. Joseph's College will be confident following their 28-24 triumph over Science College in their previous fixture.

Meanwhile the reigning 'A' division champions and the current table leaders St. Peter's College will meet Dharmaraja College Kandy in their annual encounter at the Bogambara Stadium today.

The Peterites are set to pull off this game by a convincing margin following their back to back victories against Science College (48-14) and Thurstan College (61-6) respectively. (C.D)
