'Foreign powers active again to regain lost privileges'

Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has said that foreign powers who attempted to disrupt the moves taken by the government to defeat terrorism are even at present making efforts to regain their lost privileges.

Minister Rambukwella said that these powers which operated in adverse conditions when the first year of the war victory was being celebrated faced severe defeats as they were unsuccessful to achieve their goals.

The Minister said that the correct leadership in the country defeated the terrorists and their foreign sympathisers and is quite capable of facing any challenge even in the future.
