'Darusman report; effort to revive LTTE terrorism'

'The controversial Darusman Report is a one-sided report containing the ideas and views of groups making an effort to revive and nurture LTTE terrorism again, said Ariyaratne Herath, Senior Lecturer Attached to the Economics Department of the Peradeniya University.

'The prime objective of this report is to underestimate the victories gained by the political leadership led by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the heroic security forces.

He wished to ask as to where the members of the committee which formulated this report had been when LTTE terrorists were committing genocide against Sri Lankan civilians.

'It is regrettable to see certain people who spent their lives away from the country during LTTE atrocities trying to white wash the LTTE terrorist outfit.
