President offers scholarships
Grade 5 scholarships 2010, to the children of ETF employees will be
offered by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on April 30 at Temple Trees,
states a release from the President's Media Division.

Around 5,000 employees' children have qualified in the Grade 5
scholarship examination 2010 on the district basis.
Four hundred students out of the total have been selected to receive
scholarships from the President.
Each of the recipient students will be allocated a sum of Rs. 15,000
to be deposited in a People's Bank Sisu Udanaya Account. This programme
has been launched under a concept of the President during his tenure as
the Minister of Labour since 1994. |
