Dilantha driving a Lamborghini LP 560 was on pole position as he
recorded the fastest time at the qualifying round. On day one Dilantha
after winning the race was on podium and it was the national anthem of
Malaysia was played as he had not carried the lion flag but the second
day saw the lion flag flutter when the national anthem of Sri Lanka was
played while Dilantha on the podium.
All leading Formula team drivers were thrilled with Lankan's and dare
devil driving congratulated the small made Lankan.
Sri Lanka's Dilantha has been able to win the Malaysian title on many
occasions though countries like India Malaysia and Japan after spending
millions has failed to produced a Champion driver in the recent past as
the Lankan driver has been dominating the Malaysian and the whole of
Asian tracks with his classy driving.
Though Dilantha has won the title on many occasions none of the Sri
Lankans have come forward to support him in any way according to him.
All his achievements were the results of the funding done by sponsors
from Hong Kong and Malaysia. He is supported by RAY AX AND SATA of
Malaysia and Chronoforce, the Hong Kong company.
He is due to race in the next round on May 28 at the same circuit. |
