Splendid 139 by SSC's Dimuth

Promising opening batsman Dimuth Karunaratne hit a splendid 139 as the SSC piled up a formidable 311 for 7 in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier A cricket tournament match against Bloomfield which began at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Sampath takes 4/53

All rounder Tillekeratne Sampath snapped up four wickets for 53 as Baduraliya CC dismissed the defending champions Chilaw Marians CC for 210 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier A cricket tournament match which began at Katunayake yesterday.
