Celebrate Easter brunch at Ceylon Continental

On Easter Sunday, Ceylon Continental offers a Brunch Buffet like no other, packed with the freshest and tastiest of items to soothe late morning - and early afternoon appetites.

But the most fun and enjoyment has undoubtedly been reserved for the younger guests.

"This Easter, we aim to give children a great experience with loads of fun. There will be a special kiddies corner dedicated for children at the buffet including Easter shaped bunnies. The Hotel is allowing children below 10 years to come in free of charge, and children under 15 years at half price. In addition there will be free use of the swimming pool and free face painting for kids and the most exciting of all - the Egg Hunt and Magic Show, a Hotel spokesperson said.

A day for the whole family

The Hotel will be giving a complimentary soft drink to every child, and a glass of sparkling wine to adults. A complimentary photograph will also be taken of the family on this occasion.

The Hotel will go an extra step in assuring space and relaxation for parents, by offering babysitting facilities under the supervision of well experienced baby sitters. A special children's entertainment area will be allocated, where all the activities for children will take place.

From 11.30 am to 2.30 pm the Hotel will offer a gargantuan selection of items to cater to anyone, be it a lover of Western and Continental Breakfast, Italian cuisine, Asian spreads or a lover of desserts extraordinaire.

In addition to the Hotel's Brunch Buffet, there are several other warm touches on offer to all guests. An assortment of breakfast favourites, Salad Corner and Soups will be available.

There will also be carvery stations offering honey roast pork loin and roast duck. Enjoy fillet mignon in bourguignon sauce, pan fried fish grenobloise, and more selected items at the hot buffet. The Asian corner offers a mix of Indian, Thai, Chinese and Sri Lankan specialties including Thai green chicken curry, mug malai tikka and hot butter cuttlefish.

Guests can then pick up their preferred desserts, which include some of the tried and tested favourites in blue berry cheesecake, ice-cream and fruit salad. Also on offer are exquisite dishes including lemon meringue pie, hot orange souffle, Easter bunny shaped cup cakes, strawberry millefuille, and the Feature Station sure to set everyone's taste buds on fire, the mango flambé.

In addition to the buffet, Happy Hour will be on offer throughout, and guests can try their hand at making their own Martini. The Hotel will offer a 10 percent discount to selected credit card holders and for large groups, the 11th person will be taken free of charge.
