Kavishka - champion swimmer

Kavishka Weerasinghe or Colombo International School emerged under-15 boys champion at the Novices Aquatic Sports Championship which concluded at the Ananda College Swimming Pool recently.

Kavishka won the under-15 50m freestyle, 50m Dolphin and the 200m individual medley.

He finished the 50m freestyle in 30.85 seconds, the 50m Dolphin in 33.43 seconds and the 200m individual medley in 2 minutes and 52.17 seconds.

His two brothers Dhinal and Kavin are also promising swimmers who have won several championships at the very young age.
