Thurstan thro'

Thurstan College put up a fine all round performance to beat Royal College by six wickets in their inter-school under 19 limited overs cricket tournament quarterfinal match worked off at Thurstan College ground yesterday.

Royal: 165 in 47.2 overs (S. Subasinghe 32, V. Abeysekera 40, S. Wijesinghe 4 for 41, R. Perera 3 for 24).

Thurstan: 166 for 4 in 37.2 overs (S. Navaratne 42, P. Arthavindu 45, T. Madurapperuma 23 n.o, D. Padmanadan 2 for 44).
