Cache of arms recovered

Officers attached to the STF camp in Puliyankulam recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation in Wellamulli Waikkal and Pudukuduirippu on Wednesday.

The items included 46 locally manufactured hand grenades, 750 T 56 ammunition, two T 56 ammunition gabs, two claymore bombs weighing 15 kilos each and five Claymore bombs weighing 10 kilo each. The cache of arms was handed over to the Mullaitivu Police for investigations.
