House for handicapped worker

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau has come forward to build a
hosue for Niluka Priyadharshani of Galpothugoda who had been completely
physically handicapped in an accident while employed as a domestic
servant in Saudi Arabia.
The construction work on the house was inaugurated recently at a
function held with the SLFEB Chairman Kingsley Ranawaka’s participation.
This house when constructed will be the 23rd house under the Sahana
Nivasa special project aimed at building houses for handicapped while
working in the overseas.
Chairman Ranawaka who laid the foundation stone for the house said
they will build 30 houses for completely physically handicapped persons
while working abroad. |
