Sri Sumangala Kalutara District Div III champs

Sri Sumangala Cricket Club emerged Kalutara District division III cricket champions when they beat Horana Sports Club at Panadura Espalanade on February 13. Sri Sumangala SC won the 50 over match by 84 runs.

Sri Sumangala scored 239 for 9 while Horana SC were all out for 155 in 37.3 overs, 84 runs behind their opponents.

Roshan Soysa and U Gunarathan's half centuries took Sri Sumangala SC to a comfortable total of 239 in fifty overs. Harsha Kumara of Horana SC grabbed four wickets but it did not stop their opponents from winning. Roshan Soysa who scored 75 runs and took two wickets was adjudged man of the match. Kaluthara District Cricket Association President Sumith Perera gave away the trophies. The tournament was organized by Kalutara District Cricket Association.
