Floods in Rwanda
Over 300 families homeless
Rwanda: A total of 340 Rwandan families have been left homeless due
to floods that destroyed a part of the northwest of this African country
last week, the Pan African News Agency reported Monday. According to an
official Rwandan delegation visiting the towns of Ngarama and Nyagatare,
these territories were strongly affected by sudden floods provoked by
the rains in the region.
"At least 339 families are still without a shelter," an official
responsible to report the catastrophe in Rwanda said.
