Nichula Liyanage a promising cager

Nichula Liyanage of St Peters College is a very talented young basketball player. He was nominated the Best Offensive Player in the under 13 All Island 'A' division, Championship.

The thirteen year old emerged to the Basketball scene at the age of 8 winning many competitions in the under 10 category in 2008.

He stepped in to the basketball court at a young age at Weslely College, and his talents bagan to bloom after joining St Peter's College.

Nichula played a pivotal role in the leading ST Peter's under 13 team to clinch the Calrton Cup and finish runners up in the All Island Under 13 'A' Division championship. Nichula scored 24 points out of the 37.

Nichula Liyanage a schoolboy prodigy is 5'10' and was adjudged as a Best Offensive Player. He has a bright future and his ambition is to sport National colours.
