Obama covers up Guantanamo tortures

SPAIN: US President Barack Obama's Government covers up the torturers of the illegal detention centre in Guantanamo, Cuba, said US human rights attorney Michael Ratner in an interview released by the Spanish Publico daily Sunday. Centre for the Constitutional Rights President Michael Ratner accused Obama's administration of blocking any attempt to try those responsible for the tortures committed by the US at Guantanamo detention centre.

It is very clear that Obama will do nothing on that matter, and he even covers up those involved in the torturing plan, said the human rights attorney in his interview with the Spanish daily.

The CCR president said that the recent US secret documents revealed by Wikileaks website clearly show at what point the US current administration tries to prevent the responsible for those tortures from taking into justice.
